REBELS ARRESTED IN BANGALOW HOME

Police arrested a number of men in the Northern Rivers and Queensland overnight, who they believe are associated with the Ballina chapter of the outlawed Rebels Motorcycle Gang. A joint investigation between Ballina and Queensland Police led officers to a home in Bangalow. “There is items there that we believe is part of the manufacturing of Ampetamines they are still being established.” Police arrested a man, and allegedly seized a number of firearms including a sawn off shotgun, drugs and cash. They also arrested a man in a vehicle in Nerang who they claim was trafficking drugs from New South Wales. Investigations are ongoing. Read More »

To surfing and favourites Snapper Rocks didn’t disappoint at the state Surf Tag titles at Duranbah today. The club claiming its sixth Queensland title to progress to the national event, along with North End, Duranbah, Burleigh and Kirra.
