GIDLEY RACING TO BE FIT FOR THE TRIP TO TOWNSVILLE

The Knights are sweating on the fitness of their captain as they prepare to head north for this weekend’s clash with the Cowboys. Kurt Gidley was named in the squad, but he’ll have to prove his fitness by Friday if he’s going to play. If the skipper’s ruled out, Sione Mata’utia will take his place at fullback. There were few surprises, with skipper Kurt Gidley picked at fullback, while Uate and McManus were named on the wing. Korbin Sims will start in the front row, with Randell, Houston, Fa’alogo, Stockwell and Sione Mata’utia making up an extended bench. Joey Leilua was selected in the centres with Dane Gagai.
