GIDLEY TO PLAY IN ENGLISH SUPER LEAGUE

Newcastle Knights skipper Kurt Gidley has announced he’s signed a one-year contract with the Warrington Wolves in the English Super League. The Newcastle local has played 236 NRL games, in a career spanning 15 years. Gidley also boasts an impressive representative track record, including 12 appearances in the NSW State of Origin and 12 for Australia. “I have been lucky, to grow up in Newcastle, to have my family’s support and to play for this great Club,” he said.
