ALLEGED MURDERER TO FACE COURT IN JUNE

A 25-year-old man, accused of murdering his father in Murwillumbah, has had his case adjourned until June. 46-year-old Michael Anthony Martin died at his unit on Quarry Road on June 13 last year. His son, Michael Martin Junior, was charged with his murder in March. He also faces charges relating to another home invasion in April 2014, which left his father seriously injured. Read More »

WOMAN CHARGED OVER MURWILLUMBAH STABBING

A woman’s been charged with attempted murder, over the stabbing of two men in Murwillumbah last year. Jessica Hone Fallon allegedly broke into Michael Martin’s South Murwillumbah apartment, stabbing him in the face, as well as attacking another man. Police allege she had accepted payment to kill Mr Martin. A month later, Mr Martin was found dead at the same apartment. Police say they’re still looking for the person responsible for Mr Martin’s murder…and are looking to see if there’s a link between the two incidents. Fallon faced Parramatta Local Court today…she was remanded in custody, to return next month. Read More »
