PICKERING IN A PICKLE

Counter-terrorism police have paid a visit to Gold Coast based cartoonist Larry Pickering, after he published a controversial image of Mohammad. In response to the terror attacks in Paris, Pickering published a cartoon on his website depicting the Prophet as a pig on a spit with a pencil through his body. The award winning cartoonist says no direct threat has been made against him, but he’s taking the police warning seriously. “It was more like look if you’re going to continue to do this please give us warning next time and I said look I will be doing it.
