TEXT ABUSE ‘COWARD’, ‘PIG’ COULD BE OUT OF JAIL BY FRIDAY

A bully who’s been locked up and labelled a ‘coward’ in court…may be released from jail as early as Friday after lodging an appeal against his jail sentence. Dan Shearin pleaded guilty to a charge of using a carriage service to harass his then girlfriend Breeana Robinson. The court was told he bombarded her with hundreds of abusive messages…even ridiculing her for being legally blind. After a month of living with him, Breeana took her own life, plunging from their Southport highrise balcony. TEENAGE JEWELLERY ROBBER TO STAY BEHIND BARS

An 18 year old accused of robbing a Treetops jewellery store will stay behind bars until his next court appearance in December. Jake Smith surrendered to police custody yesterday morning. He was charged with armed robbery. Police will allege he tried on a 2-thousand dollar chain before running off with it. The shop’s owner was hit by the getaway car trying to stop the thieves. “He did surrender and he wasn’t the driver of the car that injured the woman.” Smith was already on probation for public nuisance and obstructing police. DISGRACED TWEED OFFICER TO APPEAL SENTENCE

Shane Diehm’s lawyer, has returned to court today, launching an appeal against the former Tweed detective’s six month prison sentence. Diehm was sentenced last month after being found guilty of lying to the New South Wales Police Integrity Commission – denying involvement in a drug-fuelled weekend on the Gold Coast. But the hearing for 23 former Bandidos charged over the infamous ‘Broadbeach Brawl’ has been post-poned, until next year. A bizarre discovery for police overnight, when they pulled over a car at Helensvale – discovering a specialised ‘speaker’ concealed inside. They say the device imitates emergency vehicle sirens.
