Shocking security camera footage has emerged, of an elderly man being brutally bashed at Nerang. 70-year-old Bruce McNair sustained serious facial injuries, including a fractured eye socket, when he was set upon by a young man and a woman as he walked out of a chemist in the Nerang mall. BUS DRIVER BASHED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT AT SURFERS

A 46-year-old New South Wales man will face court later this month, after he allegedly attacked a bus driver in Surfers Paradise yesterday afternoon. TEENAGER CLAIMS SEXUAL ASSAULT ON CROWDED PUBLIC BUS

Police have appealed for witnesses, after a teenage woman was allegedly sexually assaulted on a Surfside bus in Southport. CCTV shows the 18-year-old being intimidated by a middle aged man. He tries to touch her, while she cowers against the window. “I tend to think this may have not been the first time, and maybe it’s happened to other ladies and they just haven’t reported it.” The incident took place on a crowded bus. CABBIE CLAIMS CASINO PUNCH WAS SELF-DEFENSE

A Molendinar man released on bail is accused of knocking a Casino patron unconscious in the early hours of yesterday morning. 34 year-old Shaun Eldridge was waiting at a cab-rank around 2 thirty. Eldridge’s lawyer told the court, another man made a sexually-explicit threat against his client’s wife. OUTLAW MOTORCYCLE GANG MEMBER CHARGED AFTER CIRCULAR SAW ASSAULT

Police have arrested a 31-year-old member of an outlaw motorcycle gang, after he allegedly assaulted a man with a circular saw at North Lismore last year. It’s alleged the man entered a premises in November following a dispute over money, and assaulted a 30-year-old man with the tool before fleeing. The victim was admitted to Lismore Base Hospital hospital where he underwent surgery for injuries to his face and arm. The alleged offender was arrested yesterday in Goonellabah and charged with causing grievous bodily harm. He was refused bail to appear at Lismore Local Court today. Read More »

AMERICAN MAN CHARGED AFTER ASSAULTING THREE TEENS

A 40-year-old American man has been charged after allegedly assaulting a boy and two girls on the Central Coast yesterday. Police were called to Ferry Road at Ettalong about 5pm following reports a man kicked a 13-year-old boy off the wharf and into the water. It’s further alleged the man then approached and physically assaulted two 14-year-old girls. Witnesses intervened and the man ran into a nearby toilet block where he was arrested by police a short time later. He was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and three counts of common assault. He will appear in Gosford Local Court today. Read More »
