RODNEY EADE TO LEAD SUNS

Rodney Eade has been announced as the new coach of the Gold Coast Suns. It’s understood the former Sydney and Western Bulldogs mentor agreed to take up the position this afternoon. The 56-year-old will take over from Guy McKenna. In the 90s, Eade coached the Sydney Swans to a grand final and also led the Western Bulldogs to three-straight preliminary finals from 2008. He then moved to Collingwood and last year became their football director. Read More »

The Gold Coast Suns have secured Hawthorn midfielder Mitch Hallahan, on the final day of the AFL exchange period. Suns list manger, Scott Clayton today confirmed the team targeted the young talent, who was contracted for another season with the Hawks. The Gold Coast Suns have today announced the appointment of Andrew Travis as their new CEO. Travis had been acting chief executive at the Suns following the departure of Travis Auld last month.
