Post new about the latest weather.

It was a very wet Easter at times, but as expected, it all blew over allowing us to dry out before the long weekend’s end. We squeezed in a great day before a big line of storms made its way across the west this afternoon. This is a pre-frontal trough. The front behind it has lots of cold air wrapped up in it. This will make sure the Autumn weather roller coaster stays on track. Get ready for some cold nights and cooler days. Once the front moves through we won’t see much rain. It will be clear and cool across the region until costal showers develop at the end of the week. Read More »

Moderate to heavy falls are also expected across the northern plains from Inverell out to Moree. Cloud will continue to increase tomorrow with showers and light patchy rain developing, getting heavier overnight Friday into Saturday. Saturday is likely to be the worst day with flash flooding possible along the NSW coast. The low is expected to form and the weather to mostly clear by Monday. Read More »

The Easter weather forecast is looking somewhat better across the inland areas but showers with some heavy down pours at times will still be possible along parts of the coast over the break. Tomorrow is looking very nice for the North West, Hunter and Mid North Coast with the shower activity contracting north to North East New South Wales and South East Queensland. On Good Friday a weak southerly will move in and this will trigger some showers to the Central Coast and Newcastle. On Saturday the coastal showers will extend further north with some isolated heavy downpours possible, so be prepared if you’re camping. Inland on the western side of the divide the forecast has improved with rain now less likely. Afternoon showers and a possible storm or two will be developing. On Sunday the shower activity will contract ... Read More »

Scattered showers and storms are still delivering the goods across the broadcast region that sits under a large blanket of cloud keeping temperatures down. Conditions are going to dry out from tomorrow for the North west, Hunter and mid north coast. The wet weather will contract north and linger until the Easter long weekend which is also going to see the rain return to the North west Hunter and mid north coast Read More »

After a superb weekend of sunshine across most of the region, the cloud has closed in bringing with it some patchy rain periods across the North West. A few storms have also flared up on the Mid North Coast and adjacent mountains. More cloud and showers with heavy down pours are possible along the coast tomorrow with some nasty storms set to develop. Conditions will ease across the Hunter and North West in the middle of the week, but the wet weather is set to return across the Easter long weekend for most of the NBN broadcast area. Read More »

Some lovely conditions have been experienced today with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures across the Hunter, Central Coast, NW and MNC. Further north there was a blanket of cloud that engulfed areas from about Port to Lismore where some storm flared up. Similar conditions tomorrow with the risk of more storm and shower development around the border ranges into SE QLD. Fine and comfortable elsewhere with a predominantly fine weekend on the way. It was another hot day across the region with a slow moving southerly triggering plenty of rain across Sydney this afternoon, before creeping onto the Central Coast and Hunter. The change will continue its way north over night. Tomorrow will be cooler and partly cloudy along the coast with more storms expected near the border towns and ranges before reaching the Gold Coast. Inland will see a little impact as it is a weak southerly so only a few patchy showers are expected to reach the Tablelands and Tamworth at best while the plains remain quite hot. Conditions will clear for a mostly fine weekend. Read More »

This system will not be as severe as the weekend and things will clear quickly once it passes for a mostly fine end to the week and up coming weekend. Read More »
