APPEAL FOR HELP IN CATCHING KILLER

A Mardi woman is appealing for public help in catching her daughter’s killer. It follows confirmation that a body found in bushland at Kempsey is that of 33-year-old Lisa Keem. Earlier this year, Lisa Keem posed happily with her mother Rose Foster and her sister Amy. Both were too distraught to speak today But in a statement read out by a family friend, they paid tribute to the 33 year-old. “She will be remembered for her beauty, her strength of character, for her compassion for both people and animals and for her love of her family” Ms Keem was last seen shortly after leaving her dog grooming business at Hervey Bay 12 days ago. Socceroo Mile Jedinak is enjoying a week off after playing a major role in Australia’s World Cup qualifying campaign. The Central Coast Mariners mid-fielder played 78 minutes in the one-nil loss to China on Sunday. Mile Jedinak was on the biggest stage of his football career at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday night in front of 70 000 fans, and went close to opening the scoring for the Socceroos after 24 minutes. The star mid-fielder says playing alongside Harry Kewell is a career highlight. The loss to China was the first World Cup home defeat in 27 years leaving Jedinak and his team mates frustrated.
