WYONG SES FINISHES STORM JOBS

Two weeks after the Central Coast storm first hit, Wyong SES has completed all of its jobs.

Over the course of the event, almost 2,500 calls for help were made.

“Some of our people worked the whole two weeks. It’s been an absolute amazing effort. It’s been an effort of determination and resilience to get through that.”

Local volunteers were supported by crews from across country New South Wales and Sydney, as well as 200 workers from Victoria.

“Everything we’ve required from the SES we’ve been given… So we’re very appreciative of all of the support that we’ve had.”
