WEATHER WATCH: TAKE CARE AS WILD WEATHER BATTERS THE COAST

An intense east coast low is forming off the New South Wales Mid North Coast and will unleash the majority of its energy between the Central Coast and Manning, with the Hunter taking the biggest hit.
A severe weather warning has been issued and flooding is expected on the Paterson and Williams Rivers.
Localised flash flooding is also likely, while huge dangerous swell will develop with gale force winds reaching 100km/h along the Newcastle coast.
The low is expected to retrogress or move back towards the coast which will intensify conditions.
The wild weather will ease on Wednesday.
Take care.
