TRIBUTES, FOR A YOUNG RUGBY PLAYER FATALLY INJURED DURING MATCH

A 25-year-old rugby union player has died in John Hunter Hospital, after a head clash during a match in the New South Wales north west on Saturday.

Nick Tooth was airlifted to Newcastle, after he collapsed during the first grade game between Quirindi and Narrabri.

Tributes for the Quirindi local have poured in, with his club saying “the loss of this kind hearted and fine young man will be felt far and wide. The club would like to offer their support to everyone who has been touched by this tragic loss”.

Club president, Charles Murray says it was a sad accident.
