BANANA FARMERS PREPARE FOR NEW STRAIN OF PANAMA

Bananas bring in millions of dollars into Coffs Coast economy each year.

But farmers across New South Wales are now taking extra precautions to ensure a new strain of Panama disease, which has crippled plantations in Queensland and the Northern Territory, doesn’t infect their farms.
