DOZENS OF CANNABIS PLANTS SEIZED FROM MID NORTH COAST PROPERTY

Police have seized cannabis worth more than $270,000 from a property, north of Taree on the Mid North Coast.

Around 10am yesterday, officers searched a home at Kundle Kundle.

It’s alleged 135 cannabis plants were found growing on the property, while police also claim to have found 25 grams of dried cannabis leaf at the home.

A 50-year-old man is facing drug cultivation and possession charges.

He’s been granted conditional bail and will face Taree Local Court on March 24.
