WEATHER: HEAVY RAIN FOR SE QLD ON THE WAY

Queensland has been swamped with heavy falls causing flash flooding.

That threat is set to move into the south east corner, with moderate to heavy falls spilling across the border into north east New South Wales over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Conditions will ease on Sunday, but there’s going to be some rain about across the Australia Day long weekend, affecting most regions.

Those falls are going to be lighter and scattered.
