SYDNEY-SIDER IN CONTROL AT THE LAKE MACQUARIE WOMEN’S AMATEUR

Sydney’s Shelly Shin remains on course to claim this year’s Lake Macquarie Women’s Amateur, thanks to a third round 70.
Shin now sits three shots clear of second placed Karis Davidson from the Gold Coast, who had a 68 on day three.
Western Australia’s Hannah Green finished two under the card to move into outright third, closely followed by New Zealand’s Chantelle Cassidy and round one tournament leader, Rebecca Kay.
